What you need to know about facial rejuvenation treatment
The term rejuvenation is used loosely here, and its not a new one.
The idea is that the skin is being refreshed by chemicals released by the body.
For people with sensitive skin, this can cause a rash, redness or itching, and dermatologists say there’s not a lot of scientific evidence to back up this theory.
But it’s an idea that’s taken off, with cosmetic dermatologists now working on treatments to treat and protect the skin.
This is the story of how these treatments have become popular.
1:40 What is facial rejuvenating treatment?
Facial rejuvenation treatments use natural ingredients and skin care products to refresh and improve skin.
Some of the most popular products are: Hydrating cream or ointment: This is a topical treatment that has been shown to improve the appearance of the face and reduce wrinkles.
Hydroquinone cream: It is used to soften and restore the skin, but can also help relieve some of the dryness caused by ageing.
Natural moisturiser: A moisturiser can help to soften, reduce and soothe skin.
Facial moisturiser is also sometimes used to moisturise and improve the skin’s appearance.
Dermatologist-approved moisturiser or emollient: Dermal moisturiser and emollients are used to treat wrinkles and other skin issues.
Skin moisturiser Dermamid cream: Dermal moisturisers are used as a natural moisturiser for people with acne.
Emollients: These are products made of emolliency that help to improve and restore skin’s tone.
Acne treatment cream: Acne treatment creams are used for people who have severe acne.
They also help to reduce redness and itchiness caused by the skin aging.
Innovative facial rejuvenator: For those with a milder skin type, a face rejuvenator can help repair or rejuvenate skin, according to cosmetic dermatologist Dr. Lisa Smith-Brown of the University of Sydney.
Cream-based facial moisturiser, like hydroquinone and emamid, is a natural product that helps to restore skin tone and can help relieve signs of ageing.
The products used in facial rejuvenators are often applied to the face or applied directly onto the skin itself.
How is facial resurfacing different from skin care?
Faces can have a lot to do with how well they heal, and a facial resurface may have a natural effect on that, said Dr. Smith- Brown.
It’s possible to use a facial rejuvenate as a skin care product to treat your skin, and if you have a mild skin type like fair or medium-skinned people, it can be used to help with a more obvious skin issue, she said.
However, it’s not just about skin, says Dr Smith- brown.
It can be also help treat a more serious condition like acne, a condition that can be aggravated by a combination of factors.
What about the effects of facial rejuvenations on the skin?
Some people will see an immediate improvement when they use a face resurface, but it’s possible that they will notice other problems later, according a dermatologist.
You might see: Redness: Some people will notice a redness on the face in the first few weeks after applying a facial moisturizer, and you may see that the redness improves within a few weeks.
Burns: Some skin will feel a burning sensation when using a facial re-energiser.
Redness and irritation: There’s no clear evidence to prove that facial rejuvenates help to relieve redness.
Other problems may be more difficult to treat, such as redness, inflammation or eczema.
Will facial rejuvenaters make my skin more red?
The use of facial reenergists has increased in recent years, and the most common concerns about the products are the use of silicone and other chemicals.
These concerns stem from concerns about skin damage caused by silicone, which is a petroleum-based plastic.
A study conducted in 2010 found that the use a silicone re-ester was associated with increased levels of acne.
However, the use and potential health effects of silicone are still unclear.
The most commonly used silicone reenergeties in Australia are hydrocolloid re-esters and silicone microdermabrasion re-eners, according for the Australian Cosmetic Society.
More research is needed before we can fully understand whether facial rehydrating has any positive effects on skin.
But there is growing evidence that the products used for facial rejuvenance can improve the health of skin.
For those who do have a skin type that is sensitive, a facial retouching treatment is an effective treatment option for that.
The benefits are clear and noticeable, Dr Smith Brown said.
She said a few other benefits to the facial rejuvenated skin include: Reduction of redness:
