Hair transplantation in Hyderabadi
Hyderabad: Hair transplant patients will get their own hairdresser at a cost of Rs 2,000 each, the first such scheme in the country.
A doctor will provide a haircut, wash and manicure, according to the Health Ministry.
The patients will also get their hair cut in the name of the National Hair Regeneration Project.
“This is a great start and will definitely provide a lot of good jobs to the hairdressing industry,” said Anand, a hair stylist at a salon in the city.
It is the second such programme in the state, after the Telangana Hair Rejuvenation and Rejuvenations Association launched a hairderer for the poor in 2009.
Telangana has more than 100 hairdryers, many of them owned by private individuals.
